Rheology of dilute nanofluids, prepared by dispersing various TiO2 nanopulvers (rutile or anatase) in aqueous acidobasic buffers, is studied using the AWS (apparent wall slip) rotational viscometry. Maximum content of dispersion phase in stable (non-settling) systems is controlled by pH (zeta-potential). All the prepared stable dispersions are rather dilute (solid content below 2.5 wt%) and embody Newtonian flow behavior with no AWS effects in narrow channels with hydraulic radii on order of 0.1mm.
