The three dominant Zionist politicians differed significantly almost in all aspects. V. Jabotinsky, by his self-declared adherence to Herzlian legacy, tried to justify and legitimize his own ostracized political trend. All three men shared, however, some similar viewpoints as well. Their preference of a common goal (defined either as a national, state or collective interest) over particularistic norms and values demonstrates a certain amount of affinity exiting among them on issues that are in no way marginal
