    The antiferromagnetic CoO undegoes a transition to non-magnetic phase under pressure. The insulating behavior is obtained by inclusion of the Hubbard energy for localisation 3d states within first principle calculations. Therefore the degree of correlation affects the transition pressure.

    Antiferomagnecký CoO se pod tlakem transformuje do nemagnetické fáze. CoO je za standartních podmínek isolátor a to je při výpočtů z prvních principů dosaženo implementaci Hubbard energie pro lokalizované 3d stavy. Velikost této lokalizace ovlivňuje tlak přechodu.
