The riverbank forests of Moldova are source of existance for local communities. Biodiversity conservation and protection of the habitats in a transboundary context are main challenges of the region. A Moldavian-Ukrainian cooperation is needed in order to extend protected areas and ensure a sustainable environment.
Pobřežní lesy v Moldávii jsou významným zdrojem pro existenci lokálních společenstev. Ochrana biodiverzity společenstev v kontextu hranic mezi dvěma zeměmi je hlavní výzvou pro oblast. Moldavsko-ukrajinská spolupráce je potřebná pro zvětšování chráněných území v regionu.
