The web pages presents to visitors some basic information about the research project NAMAK that is focused on the exploration and research in salt karts in Zagros Mts. and Persian Gulf coast in Iran. The presented research is held by Charles University in Prague, Czech Academy of Sciences and Shiraz University with a contribution of persons from the private sphere.This project started in 1998. The most popular results are discovery, exploration and mapping of the 3N and Ghar-e Daneshyu Caves - the 1st and 5th world longest caves. We also keep on publishing of our scientific data in international journals.
