Measurements of P - wave velocity anisotropy were carried out under laboratory conditions (ultrasonic sounding) anb under field conditions (shallow seismic refraction). Field measurements proved relatively high value of anisotropy (25%), while laboratory value was only about 1,5%. Scaling factor was discussed.
