Description in EnglishLeukocyte Adherence Inhibition (LAI) assay developed as a measure of the cell-mediated immunity was used to study response of leukocytes to 60 min exposure to the magnetic field 50 Hz and 1 and 10mT. Leukocytes from healthy humans adhere but their adherence decreases after the exposure. The majority of leukocytes taken from cancer patient before any medical treatment do not adhere and the exposure increases their adherence.
