The contribution deals with electrical, photoelectrical and photoluminescence properties of three types of oligo(diphenylvinylene)s differing in the main-chain end-groups: (i) diphenylmethylenediyl, (ii) phenylcarbonyl, and (iii) fluorene-9,9-diyl. In the oligomers possessing phenylcarbonyl end-groups an increased formation of charge transfer pairs was observed.
