Biomechanical aspects of the ACL reconstruction procedures with an emphasis on evaluating the dynamic strain of materials commonly used for this purpose were investigated. The original ACL showed the lowest strength and stiffness of all tested materials (ACL, bone-patellar tendon-bone, gracilis and semitendinosus harmstring tendon).

Rekonstrukce předního zkříženého vazu kolena (ACL) byly hodnoceny zejména z hlediska mechanických vlastností používaných materiálů. Nejčastěji používané štěpy byly testovány v dynamickém tahu. Vlastní ACL vykazoval nejnižší pevnost a tuhost ze všech zkoumaných materiálů (ACL, ligamentum patelae, šlachy m. gracilis a m. semitendinosus).
