Properties of the catalysts are compared with those of corresponding gama-Al2O3-supported microemulsion catalysts and with those prepared by classical impregnation from water solutions of H2PtCl6. Other important comparison includes a new oxide catalyst, the calcined NiMgMn hydrotalcite-like compound.
