A new 6-parameter empirical model is applied to a description of non-Newtonian flow situations when shear viscosity function in dependence on shear rate or shear stress exhibits either monotnous or non-monotonous behaviour. For the case of suspnesions with increasing concentration this model enables to express both shear-thinning course of viscosity and its passage to viscoplastic behaviour with a nonzero yield stress. In this respect this new model provides better results in comparison with a preceding model.
