    On a two-day workshop of the Research Training Group 2430 - Interactive Fiber Rubber Composites (I-FRC) at TU Dresden, the research activities of the Institute of Thermomechanics of the CAS and primarily of the Thermodynamics department were introduced. Among other, the experimental results achieved in conjunction with membership in the international association IAPWS, i.e. experiments on surface tension and density of supercooled metastable aqueous solutions, were presented.
