Ukazuje dramatické změny počínající revolucí roku 1848 a následným obdobím neoabsolutismu v 50. letech, přes opatrné uvolňování let 60. až po praxi pozdější doby. Stručně je rovněž připomenuto specifické období let 1914-1918, kdy byla již předtím omezená svoboda projevu dalekosáhle zasažena opatřeními tehdejšího nedemokratického státu.
Description in English The chapter describes selected aspects of the development of freedom of speech in various periods from the late 1940s to 1914. It shows the dramatic changes beginning with the revolution of 1848 and the subsequent neo-absolutism in the 50s, through the careful relaxation of the 60s to later practice. The specific period of 1914-1918, when the previously limited freedom of expression was already far affected by the measures of the then undemocratic state, is also briefly recalled.
