AnnotationNew technological procedures and innovations in the development of advanced 2D materials place high demands on the techniques for their analysis. A detailed study of the interaction of electrons with matter is essential in the design of next generation materials. Inelastic mean free path is a key parameter of electron scattering of electrons both in bulk materials and in thin foils. We performed pilot experiments for monolayer graphene to acquire electron energy‑loss spectra for low landing energies.
