AnnotationThe CFD simulations of flow in a stirred tank in fully turbulent regime were investigated. The flow Reynolds number was changed in two ways: change of impeller speed and using different values of kinematic viscosity. Results of ensemble-averaged values of axial profiles of radial velocity are consistent with the independency of mean time averaged velocity on Reynolds number in turbulent region, while turbulence characteristics (kinetic turbulent energy, dissipation rate of turbulent kinetic energy) showed slight dependency on Reynolds number.
