Poster pojednává o počátcích měst od jejich založení do stavby kamenného opevnění. Města získávala hradby zpravidla až po několika desetiletích své existence. Předtím byla obehnána často jen příkopem s valem a palisádou či živým plotem, jen výjimečně se setkáváme s kamennými hradbami při založení města nebo krátce po něm.

The poster deals with the beginnings of the towns from their foundation to the construction of the stone fortifications. Towns usually gained walls after several decades of their existence. Previously, they were often surrounded only by a moat with a valley and a palisade or a hedge, but rarely we encounter stone walls at the foundation or shortly after.
