Vertical arrays of ZnO nanorods (NRs) are prepared by low temperature hydrothermal method. The graphite/ZnO NRs junctions are created by the deposition of graphite from a colloidal solution. We show that the sensitivity, and the response and recovery times of the graphite/ZnO NR junctions are strongly related to the morphology of the ZnO NRs
