    Some of the important issues concerning vascular and metabolic changes in pathophysiology of epilepsy are addressed. Efficient regulatory mechanisms operating in concert at several levels are discussed. It has been proposed that the substances with antioxidant properties combined with conventional therapies might provide a beneficial effect in the treatment of epilepsy
