We observed the unique gamma-ray source GRB 070610/SWIFT J195509+261406 (J1955), discovered by the NASA satellite Swift. We conclude that while the emission mechanisms in J1955 (located in our Galaxy) and optical afterglows of the extragalactic long gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) are mutually quite similar, the configurations of their light-emitting regions largely differ. We showed that J1955 represents a new type of gamma-ray source and that the activity of its central engine plays a great role.
