    In this work, the influence of the wetting properties of the container wall on the foam behaviour was investigated experimentally. The common materials such as glass, modified glass, and plastics were used as the solid phase. They exerted different degree of hydrophobicity. Both a model beer of reproducible composition and real beer was used as the liquid phase. The foam behaviour was studied with a high-speed camera and image analyzing software. The results show an interesting relationship between wettability of solid phase and foam behaviour.
