AnnotationFerromagnetic shape memory alloys (FSMAs) are wide, modern and very interesting (but complicated) area. The CoNiAl perform qualitative jump in the properties of FSMAs with order higher strength and partially better resistance to cracking. However physical behavior of CoNiAl is still poorly understood and it is unclear, how many martensites exist in it. The austenite - martensite transformation overlap with transition from paramagnetic to ferromagnetic state in some of FSMAs. This overlap is kind of the multiferoic behavior.
