AnnotationDNA adduct forming activity of extractable organic matter (EOM) from urban air particles <10µm (PM10) was analyzed in human hepatoma cell line HepG2. The results suggest that the estimation of the genotoxic potential of ambient air and prediction of health risk should be based mainly on c-PAHs concentration and biological activity of extracts, while amount of particles and EOM content do not seem to be crucial determinants of ambient air genotoxicity.
