Z hlediska územního plánovaní a realizace projektů jejich výstavby je klíčovou právě otázka sociální akceptace, a to nejen ze strany residentů dotčených lokalit (komunitní akceptace), ale i z pohledu jejich reprezentace na lokální a regionální úrovni (akceptace politická). V poslední době se staly jedním z hlavních argumentů oponentů proti další výstavbě větrných parků vedle potenciálního vlivu na krajinný ráz i spekulace o jejich negativním působení na cestovní ruch. Cílem článku je analyzovat, zhodnotit a empiricky ověřit možný vliv výstavby VTE na cestovní ruch na příkladu lokality okolí přehradní nádrže Slezská Harta. Description in English The study purposes to assess and empirically verify prospective negative effects of the construction of wind turbines on the image and the tourism potential of concerned areas on example of two comparative rural recreational localities (with a planned construction of wind park and with an already existing park) in the Czech Republic. The empirical research consisted of two mutually linked parts: questionnaire survey and focused semi-structured interviews. The emphasis was put on the subjective perception of the phenomenon by specific social actors: tourists and local business representatives in the sphere of tourism.
