AnnotationNovel polymers for optoelectronics: three low-bandgap soluble alternating copolymers based on fluorene and 4,6-di(2-thienyl)thieno[3,4-c][1,2,5]thiadiazole units, alternating luminescent fluorene - thiophene copolymers consisting of 9,9-dialkylfluorene and 3-substituted thiophene units (R: hexyl, 3-methylbutyl, 2-(pyren-1-yl)vinyl, and 2-(quinolin-4-yl)vinyl), and novel fluorene-carbazole copolymers were synthesized and characterized. Photophysical, electrochemical, and photoelectrical properties of these materials and their blends were studied.
