    Description in EnglishA novel method of hydroxyapatite (HAP) deposition on poly(glycolide co-L-lactide) (PGLA) is presented. PGLA films were submitted to subsequent soaking in calcium chloride and potassium phosphate to create apatite nuclei on PGLA surface. Applied soaking considerably reduced time of hydroxyapatite deposition from simulated body fluid (SBF) from 10-15 days to 2-3 days. Human osteoblast-like cells (MG 63) better adhere and proliferate on PGLA/HAP surface than on control materials
