    Stress wave propagation in a thin disc under radial impact loading is studied theoretically and experimentally. theoretical solution is based on analytical and numeridal approaches. Experimental solution utitizes the miniature piezoelectric transducer placed in several defined points at the edge of a disc. The influence of some geometrical imperfections (slits) on signal spreaching is investigated as well.
