Libořezy Bog had remained undisturbed by humans due to its distance from the nearest village, however, at the beginning og the 1980s this locality was licensed for extraction, drained, clear-cut and heavy machinery was used to exploit the peat. This Capter present data before and after this extraction, valuable data that can no longer be obtained.
