Liposomal muramyl tripeptide phosphatidylethanolamine (MTP-PE), an immunomodulator, and diclofenac, an inhibitor of prostaglandin production, were shown earlier to have anti-tumour effects. In the experiments described in this communication it was shown that combined treatment of mice bearing fibrosarcoma tumours with the above two substances attenuated their anti-tumour activities.
