Deprotonation of the cationic complexes with triethyamine leads to neutral amido complexes with ene-hydrazone PNPž frame of the ligands which is of unsymmetrical pincer type. Palladium(II) complex with a new (E,E)-tetradentate coordination mode was also prepared with the isopropyl ligand and completely characterized including X-ray diffraction.
