Genetically modified plants with increased ability to bind heavy metals or expressing a bacterial gene responsible for cleavage of PCBs were prepared for use in remediation of contaminated environment, plants emitting insect pheromones can function as prevention of contamination by excess pesticides.
Námi připravené geneticky modifikované rostliny se zvýšenou schopností vázat těžké kovy či exprimující bakteriální gen zodpovědný za štěpení PCB mohou odstraňovat škodlivé látky, rostliny emitující hmyzí feromony mohou preventivně snižovat zátěž ŽP pesticidy.
