This paper presents the study of geometrical and fluid dynamics parameter’s effect on the stability of subsonic stall flutter in the low pressure (LP) stage steam turbine blade cascade. The study is arried out by numerical modeling and the experimental methods. During this research work the effect of key influencing parameters e.g., blade solidity (s), stagger angle (β), reduce frequency (k), and back pressure (BP) on aerodynamic damping characteristics of subsonic stall flutter is evaluated. The experimental testes are carried out on the five blade linear cascade model for pure torsional mode flutter. The study reveals that all the examined parameters can have significant effects on the aerodynamic damping of the blade cascade in subsonic stall flutter regime
