The paper presents results of IBA characterization by TIMA microscope and summarizes the overall content of Cu, Al, Fe, and Zn. Their chemical speciation and distribution in particles below 2 mm. The data about overall Al content were validated by other analytical methods to confirm data reliability. Results show that Cu was present mainly in the metallic form (over 80 %), on contrary, nearly no Zn and Fe were found as metallic (less than 1 %), the majority of them (ca 2/3) are as oxides. The main species of Al was as expected aluminosilicates and glassy phases, metallic aluminium was about 16 % of total Al content.
