The guide describes speleological evolution of the Bohemian Karst (Bohemian Massif, Czech Republic) from Cretaceous to recent and describes the most important caves of the area. The karst is developed in Silurian and Devonian limestone and consits recently of 687 known caves with overall total cave lenght of 24 km. The guide contains map of the whole area with position of caves, cave maps and voluminous list of references.
