Annotation	The state control over sports was missing after the Velvet Revolution. The era of the "privatization" or "intimization" of sports beginnings. The ambitious plans, which need a strong support of society, however, are not succesfull, as it is obvious from the attempt of Prague municipality to arrange the Olympic games in 2016.
