    AnnotationWe demonstrate that square wave voltammetry, producing well-developed peaks IIsw specific for double-stranded DNA and IIIsw yielded by single-stranded DNA at mercury electrodes can be used to study various kinds of DNA structural transitions, including unwinding of dsDNA at negatively charged electrode surfaces.
