Článek se zabývá Masarykovým pojetím lásky a pravdy, jež stojí proti cynické machinaci a technokratické manipulaci. Politik by měl nejprve získat co nejvíce ze studnice vědění a skutečného poznání. I politik může žít v pravdě a lásce a moudře kultivovat národní bytí, nemusí vůbec usilovat o neoprávněné sebeobohacování. I sátník se nakonec může otevírat tajemství bytí.

The article deals with Masaryk's account of love and truth that stand over against cynical machination and technocratic manipulation. The politican would first gain utmost from the well of knowing and true cognition. The politican can also live in the truth and love, and he can cultivate wisely the national being. He never must at all strive after unjustifiable self-enriching. The statesman can as well eventually rise up to the mystery o being.
