The myelodysplastic syndromes are clonal hematologic disorders characterized clinically and morphologically by ineffective hematopoiesis with a high risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Mutual protein-protein interaction was measured by a direct, real-time and label free technique measuring refractive index changes produced by the binding of analyte to its biospecific partner immobilized on the sensor surface. Our task was to optimise conditions for interaction of each pair of proteins, especially find out optimal concentration, minimal detection limit and suitable measurement buffer.
