    Thin films containing TiO2 nanoparticles were applied onto silica fibers, into inner wall of silica capillaries and onto planar substrates. Optical properties and morphology were determinated. Photoactivities of prepared films were evaluated by the photodegradation of methylene blue. Efficiency of prepared samples were compared depending on the type of substrate, film composition and mode of photo excitation.
