Stratification is a study of structured social inequalities, i.e. any systematic inequalities between groups of people. Majority of societies is stratified according to social class, income, sex/gender, and religion. Other strata (e.g. age) might exist in societies as well. The article shows how above mentioned strata formed electoral behavior in elections to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in 2006 and how is class voting modified by voters employment in private or public sector.
