We made experiments with a shock wave generator, where two cylindrical pressure wave are focused by a metallic parabolic reflector to a common focal region with a different time delay. Amplitude of the compression and rarefaction part of the waves has been determined by two different methods. The compression part reaches 50 MPa, while amplitude of the rarefaction part reaches minus tens of MPa in the focus. Observation of the cavitations radius development with a knowledge of the internal gas density also determine the inside temperature (~800 K). Investigation of the shock waves influence on an organic material and liposomes has been done.
