We construct an Orlicz space admitting a C.INFIN. smooth bump locally dependent on finitely many coordinates, which is not isomorphis to a subspace of C(K), K scattered. This answers in the negative a question of Leung.

Sestrojíme Orliczův prostor, který má C.INFIN. hladkou separující funkci lokálně závislou na konečně mnoha souřadnicích, který není isomorfní C(K) prostoru, kde K je disperzní kompakt. Tímto je negativně vyřešen problém Leunga.
