    The new plasma chemical reduction and carbidization techniques of tungsten precursors were investigated in order to produce tungsten carbide powder with high surface activity.The application of non-isothermal hydrogen/methane plasma allowed the iniciation of reduction and carburization processes at relatively low temperature of neutral gas because the high electron temperature.
