AnnotationBare fused silica capillaries filled with highly alkaline solutions of linear polyacrylamide provide fast and accurate DNA analyses. These electrolyte systems have successfully been used for the diagnostic analyses. To demonstrate the positive properties of the medium, separations performed under various operational conditions are presented. The experimental results are compared to theoretical predictions.
