AnnotationSilicalite-1 crystal layers were grown on ceramic asymetric porous supports. A continuous zeolite layer was prepared using a synthesis mixture aged for more than 3 days. The size of silicalite-1 crystals in a layer strongly decreased with increasing ageing period. High separation factor (> 10) for a mixture of butane isomers proved very good quality of composite membrane CM7 can be changed and influenced by temperature to find a compromise between permeation and separation.
