Stará teorie Anemo-orografických systémů, formulovaná na přelomu 50. a 60. let 20. století J. Jeníkem, je rozebírána z pohledu současné ekologie. Jeníkem zdůrazňované mechanismy, formulované do jednoduché teorie, mají zřejmě komplikovanější kontext. Význam mají další, zejména lokální faktory jako geologické podloží nebo voda. Navrženy jsou postupy, kterými bychom mohli Jeníkovu teorii blíže prozkoumat v budoucnu.

The old theory of Anemo-orographic systems, formulated at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s by J. Jeník, is discussed from the perspective of contemporary ecology. The mechanisms emphasized by Jeník, formulated into a simple theory, seem to have a more complicated context. Other, especially local factors such as the geological substrate or water, are of importance. Procedures are suggested by which we might explore Jeník's theory more closely in the future.
