Život dětí byl předurčen různým společenským prostředím a odlišným postavením dětí v rodině. Etnická česko-německá situace se projevila i v životě dětí v ulicích, ve škole atd. Život venkovských dětí zahrnoval práci a hry. Dětský folklor má své místní charakteristiky a společné znaky, odráží vzpomínky na války a zahrnuje historii. Zábava na řekách Svratce a Svitavě byla součástí místní atmosféry.

The life of children was predestined by different social environment and different position of children within the family. The ethnic Czech-German situation was reflected also in the life of children in streets, at school etc. The life of rural children included labour and games. Children´s folklore has its local characteristics and common signs, it reflects memories of wars and historic figures. Entertainment at Svratka and Svitava Rivers was part of local atmosphere.
