Homogeneous nucleation in small Ni droplets is determined via numerical solution of kinetic equations. Nucleation rate and the size distribution of nuclei reach after a certain time delay its stationary values. However, the number of nuclei in Ni droplet is extremely low although the phase transition was detected. It is appropriate to include the size dependency of the interfacial energy to the data analysis to overcome this discrepancy.
