    Preliminary results of experimental investigation of the boundary layer in decelerating flow are presented. The decelerating flow was simulated in the closed circuit wind tunnel 0.9 m × 0.5 m at IT AS CR. Characteristics inside the boundary layer under negative pressure gradient were studied by means of constant temperature anemometer. The free stream turbulence was risen up by square mesh plane grid. The details of experimental settings and measurement procedures are described. The distributions of the shape factor and the skin friction coefficient of the boundary layer are presented.
