The Premyslid globe was constructed as the universal precession globe which is described in the Ptolemy’s Almagest, i.e., in ecliptical coordinates. According the results of our measurements, the positions of most of stars correspond with those given in Almagest with root-mean-square error of a few tenths of degree, i.e., within about one millimetre. It revals that the globe was not a mere decoration but remarkably precise instrument.
