AnnotationA-minor interactions are the most abundant tertiary contacts in large functional RNAs. We have studied A-minor interaction in kink turn structures using molecular dynamics and precise quantum chemical calculations. Main attention was paid to the substitutions and stability of receptor pair, which is involved in the A-minor interaction.
